By offering a scholarship to a musician of the Academy—soloist, orchestral or chamber musician, singer or conductor—you play an important role in developing the talent of tomorrow. Each scholarship of CHF 3,500 covers roughly a quarter of the cost to train one musician each summer. Donors are eligible for membership benefits corresponding to the value of their donation(s) and are credited as ‘Booster’ Friends in addition to their eligible membership category. Your scholarship may be directed to the Academy student of your choice.
The Friends Office will be in touch with each person making an online gift to provide an official receipt.
The names of donors renewing their gifts in 2021 will be listed as they appeared in 2020 print and online donor acknowledgments. If you wish to update your acknowledgment listing for 2021, please send us your request by email to amis@verbierfestival.com. All new donors will be contacted directly by the Friends Office to confirm their acknowledgment preferences.
